Teens in grades 7-12 need fellowship and instructional time geared specifically to their circumstances in life. To accomplish this, a class specific to this age group meets during the 9:30 Sunday School/teaching hour under the direction of a youth ministry leader. The group provides outings on a monthly basis or more often and include various fun-filled activities. The youth leaders provide a solid Christian atmosphere for both learning and activity environments.
Biblical instruction systematically covers important areas of teenage life difficulties and spiritual growth needs. Understanding the Biblical viewpoint of life’s challenges helps ground the teens for a life-long growth process in their spiritual life.
Seeking to expand this group’s outreach, teens are encouraged and given instruction about serving in various ministry outreaches within and without the church. Participants learn the importance of ministering to others.
